El Greco Miniatures is pleased to announce that Part 2 of its Painting Tutorial is now online at: El Greco Miniatures Painting Tutorial Part 2.
The tutorial is the second part of a series being done by Stephen Mallia. It will be a diorama consisting of 7 figures from El Viejo Dragon Miniaturas, centred around the mounted figure of Alexander the Great. Each Part will focus on a particular aspect of each figure. Part One featured mainly the painting of a horse and a mounted figure. Part Two focuses mainly on the painting of the face, including highlighting and shading techniques.
The tutorial is mainly targeted to beginners in the hobby but we are sure it will make interesting reading to all ardent modellers. Although online retailers, we have taken this initiative to provide visitors to our site with background information, tutorials and guidelines about the hobby as well as links to online forums and other related sites.
