This is one of the figures of the Royal Naval Division that I'm going to try to sculpt. Note the open ammunition bandoleer. I'm a little concerned about getting the ammo exactly the same shape and size on the bandoleer, especially since the bandoleer is draped across his chest, etc. In 120mm it will be very noticeable if any of the 0.303 inch rounds are misshapen or even slightly the wrong size.

Anybody have any suggestions about how I can regulate the size and shape?

Dan, I used sliced off lengths of solder for the one I did for the Rough Rider. I made the belt and cut the solder to length using a jig with the desired length measured off. I just super-glued the "cartridges down to the belt. In this larger scale you could use some copper foil over the top of the "cartridges" to create the look of the loops.
