Mr postman ( not Kevin ) brought me yesterday my new Serie 77 ( Pat Bird sculpt ), in the serie The Americans 90mm,
Jozef P. Janssen Private US Infantry 1861-1865
I could pretend that I ordered it in 1979, lost in translation, arrived yesterday . No, I ordered it second hand last fryday, original packing .
No need to explain who he is or what he does, how to mount it, how to paint it, there is a data sheet, usual way of doing thinks in the past .
Opening the box, material protected in folded tissue paper, total weight 525 grams, more lead than tin

well cast pieces, personally I will use a thin sheet of lead for bottle strap, 2 buckles are included

Cleaning will be easy, molding seams very thin

And the " instructions " :

Well now it will stay in the box for some weeks, I go visiting friends in Nîmes next weeks .

Man, those 90mm releases of The Americans from Pat Bird were awesome back in the 80's! Enjoyed the heck out of
painting them!

Thanks for Sharing! (y)

First one I did was "Dick Perry" 1st Virginia Cav. Got a Jozef P. Janssen somewhere in in gray army storage. Fun figures and great in their day. (If you feel the figure is a little short and stocky it's because Pat was) BTW - Terry - there is a belated response to your comment about my Clinch Rifles in your inbox
