Thanks!
I'm trying my best with this one.I found that the best way of learning how to sculpt is to copy from others. That's why it's taking so long, I'm still learning :) .And the fact that I consumed all my wire.I think I have to go out and buy more of it.Now that I shrinked the pattern it makes it more difficult to make the chainmail.

The axe is sculpted around a piece of aluminium that I found around the house.I think it was a handle to something. Here is an x-acto like knife.

Here is the shattered sword taking shape.I found this silver jewelry piece that I think I'm going to include it in a banner or a staff.

Superb work and impressive details.

You have certainly captured the GW style of orc in this.
Thanks Patrick!
I'm glad you can see the GW style within.I am not playing any type of warhammer games and I'm not a big fan of the minis(too small for my eyes). But I'm a big fan of the warhammer creatures and armor style.

Here's some progress...the big orc head on the armor plate marks him now as a true warhammer orc.
Also started the chainmail for his back(it is the one on the head).

Skulls...and my first 100% scratch built impaled head.
For the head I used Fimo classic instead of soft.It made a difference.

For the plate armor I used fimo soft and milliput(0.5/0.5).

I really love the work on this, it is turning out fantastic. Just one critique, you have the chain mail running in the wrong direction. The "rows" don't go up and down but side to side. You really see why in the loin cloth. When the "rows" are up and down, the weight of the maile fully opens the links causing gapping that arrows can easily penetrate....

ahh, but the edges of the back panel are stitched! not allowing it to droop ;)

Didn't know that TorMag.I figured that a smaller pattern would close the gaps and that will be all.Apparentlythis guy mistakened too.:)
Luckily I made the holding into place thing.
Thanks Marcel!Hope I don't mess it up.The boots melted in the "oven" process.I wasn't carefull and I placed him bare feet on a metal plate.I usually use a container filled with water and place him in it, revealing just the uncooked part. But all is fixed now.

Here are a couple of pictures of chain mail... The only time the rows go down is on the sleves and only because the sleves are pointing down.

Belts:
-the new chainmail holder thingy is much better...it is detachable like the rest of the armor and it will make my life easier when I'll paint it.
