Otto Skorzeny

I'm painting a bust of Otto Skorzeny (Verlonden). He's wearing the tropical Luftwaffe uniform he wore at Gran Sasso. My question is, what color would the Waffenfarbe (branch of service color) be on his epaulettes? Everything I have on him is in B&W.

I had painted it white. Had search over a couple of sites and all I found was the white color

Well, according to the Ron Volstad illustration of Otto Skorzeny for DML Warrior Series 1/16 figure (which I have on my shelf), Otto Skorzeny's waffenfarbe is yellow. Check it out at:
