Hi all,

Just completed this figure, had initially wanted to do a slightly more elaborate base but think this simpler one works well.

Another great figure from OzMods and the hand of Phil Walden.

Painted with a mix of Vallejo and Tamiya acrylics.

Hi Andrew

Great to see you posting , nice looking figure ,painted well , like the colour variations works well

Sculpt looks good as well

I agree the base works well

Hope we see more from you and other NZ modellers

Lovely piece, he looks the part cold wet and miserable, I think the simple base is perfect to show this fell off.

Cheers Simon

Good seeing another classic from Phil Andy & glad you have shared this guy.

Good question Mike. I think it's the way the elements of the head have come together. Definitely room for improvement on the painting side of things, but feel the combination of colours, textures and weathering work well.

Good on ya Andy!
Keep ‘em coming.
What’s up next?

Got something a little different up next. Italeri's 1/35 Bedford QL and 6 pdr has been sitting on the pile for a while so am doing that with a few 1/35 figures. Mostly to stop the truck taking up storage space that could be better used by figures!
Geez that’s an absolute classic Andy. Think it was actually an old Max kit.
Always wanted to do that one myself when back doing military modelling.
Look forward to seeing what you do with it mate.
