This would be my first painting attempt, so bear with me.
I found that the paint doesn’t adhere very well to the resin figure I painted. I also have the same problem with other tests I made on ‘plastic’ pieces.
For example, it is very easy to remove the paint just by rubbing my finger on the figure.
I did the following:
-Washed the figure with soap, rinse, and let it dry
-Paint with acrylic Vallejo #919 as a primer and let it dry one full day
-Applied one coat of diluted acrylic Vallejo paint (1:1) Vallejo paint and let it dry a few hours
-Applied another 1:1 coat of paint and let it dry one day.
Thanks for any help on this first problem. Actually that may be the way it should be, I just do not know!!!
