Acrylics Painting bullets

Currently painting a WW2 120mm figure and there is a large amount of 50 cal bullets both live and spent. Im having some issues with what colors to use. Right now the tips are bronze and the casings are mix of gold lightened with white. Could someone share some advice? Scott

I'd recommend Non-Metallic Metal (NMM) the effect is stunning for small items, here are some samples:

I think youve got it spot on there. It's important to show the tips as a different colour. New brass isn't far off gold. I'd do them gold with maybe a wee dark wash to mute it a bit and then brass for the tips. you can put in tracer rounds also like I did on this 1/9th scale mg42 gunner.

You could always go with copper... since thats what there made out of.
