WIP Painting Conan

Started this bust last night(yes, night) with vallejo acrylics. Obviously, I began with the face. The fleshtone is one that I mixed myself and was put on with an airbrush. At first the whole of the face didn't look right, untill I noticed I gave Arnold blue eyes Corrected that ofcourse, he has brown eyes. The hair is chocolate brown, lightened up here and there. The rest is just basic colors.

Looks very nice indeed. ironic re the colour as the Conan in the books DOES have blue eyes

Thanks for the comments, guys.
A little progress:
The clothes I did an ocre yellow basecoat and than I tried an acrylic wash using retarder. It works pretty good, almost like oils. It still dries much faster though.The highlights were blended while it was wet. Then I used black pastels for lining. The chest armor is simple but careful drybrushing with olive and sand color

Well, I think I'm done here, as far as the bust itself. I'm happy with the result.
I thought I'd try to use some different colors for the accessories to break the whole. All that's left to do is the and some decent photos.
