When you paint insignia, chevrons, etc. in smaller scales, like 54mm, do you paint them first and then edge the jacket colors up to them?

I dont. I paint them after the uniform colour, occasionally they need a little tidying around the edge, especially if they have straight edges!

But if it works for you, there's no right or wrong!
