painting veins

Doing a lrescale 200mm + figure and he has prominet veins on his arms sugesstions on how to get that bluish colour of veins?

At that scale i wouldnt paint them blue, i would just hit them with you high highligt color.

I would paint that with an airbrush, blue very thin and then overcoat with flesh.
That looks very good.

I would't do it with a blue'ish green.
At least i did it on my figure and it turn out well on a 75 mm

why not paint them blue and then overpaint with a single coat or slightly transparent coat of flesh? The blue would show through the flesh to give the appearance of the vein.
