I'm currently practising heraldry and shield weatherings. The knights are 75mm metal and resin from Alexandros and Mercury Models. The second one I actually did last year and just touched up some things, went to town on his shield and added the more recent Ronov family shield to the base. Shield fit looks a bit wonky because it's there with poster tack and will be done with a more complex design soon, it's my practice shield at the moment.

Happy weekend everyone

Very fine drawing and geometrical designs, the weathering is very real in my opinion.

Thanks Eduardo, but it's still a bit crude. I was trying to do it like BlindPew did it on his gladiator, doing a pencil outline, however my Vallejo primer started to peel when I tried to do that. Guess I really need to look into stronger primers for future projects - one that I can also sand, and leave the Vallejo for the 28mm stuff.

Hi Cyrill

Nice to see what you've been up to , all credit for the heraldry work

The actual figures look good as well

I don´t know if this is useful for you, but I use Hunbrol enamel matt for primer, very diluted with thinner, you get a very thin flat layer, but resistant.
