wow 1/72.... in this detail

Hi Boris,

Unbelievable in this scale... I have to pick up my jaw from the floor
May be only the photo - legs seems a bit over length

Well done
Allan

Hi Boris,

I think this 1/72 figure speaks volumes for your unique understanding in figure sculpting. The foldings are rarely accurate and naturalistic for this scale. True the legs are too long and a bit of neck is left wanting, but these are minor issues and can be overcome with one more exercise or two.

My interest in 1/48 WW2 armour modelling necessarily depends on the fact that there are quality figures in that scale to bring the diorama to life. I wish you the best of luck in sculpting, and hope that your works will be commercially available, so that I finally have an excuse to kick start worthy projects in 1/72 scale.

Incredible that this was achieved in 1/72///hard to fathom. I'm curious if some kind of magnifying device is utilized while you sculpt? Or are your eyes just that great?
I would say the legs are one head too long.

Thanks for Your comments.

My own eyesight is often not enough for fine details. For this i use glasses or other optics. And use the scanner for control images.

I do all scales from the crazy small 1:144 > 1:72 > ... 200mm. Your sculpting reminds me of some Japanese work I saw a few years ago. Great job, makes me want to try sculpting myself.
