Even though some are bored by german releases, this actually is rather original as it shows a wehrmacht camouflage smock instead of the ususal WSS ones. And a rifle instead of fancy cool weapons. I like that.

What's the scale....?

Despite I never painted a WWII figure I started the hobby in the 1:35 vehicles and figurines, and I always choosed
german ones. I always loved their uniforms... nice camos and design.
Regarding this figure I must say I like it, and Ruina style of painting suit them nicely in my opinion.

Regards
Pedro

My respect for this miniature! Well done! ...but... I never see modern soldiers in this scale or like this? What is the reason? I tought it will be very well selling or not? The market are full with nice figures from WW2 ... Look at jeff shiu - very dynamic pose... I don't understand?

I agree with you Adrian, nice to see a Wehrmacht smock for a change. Regards, SG:)(y)

Excellent painting - would have loved to see a more interesting pose and yes, he is a German - so maybe another boring thread in respect to comments....;)
Cheers, Martin
Hello Martin, This is a nice figure, but agree with you about the pose, I would have liked to have seen something different. It reminds me of the old Verlinden 120mm Sniper figure. This one:

This is not my figure... but Diego did an amazing work as usual. No matter for me if the camouflage is right at 100%... the use of colors is just stuning.... Really cool work
