Hi guys :) !
Had this done up a few months ago, but haven't had time to do anything else to it since then. Just thought I'd show you some pictures first. It's a scratch-built 54mm WW1 German jager armed with a Mauser T-18. He's having lunch and some quiet time with his pet cat. Unbeknown to him, a rat too is eying his lunch. The structure on top of the trench is an anti-personnel device to discourage trench raiders. Thanks for looking and cheers !
Kenneth :p.

Hi Kenneth,

That's a beautifully rendered scene. I love the small details, the relaxed pose of the figure and the groundwork. This will look awesome when its finished. I can't wait to see the final pics. Well done.:D:D:D

Hi Kenneth,

it's a very nice setting, lot's of details in it and the atmosphere comes through very well. Can't wait to see it painted!

Thanks for the pics :)

VERY nice Peace!

Good builded and painted!

But of the helmet...:

I think, your helmet has the wrong form.

Greman helmets of Fist World War were a little bit greater and had a little different form from the Model, which was used in World War Two.

Above the type of 1917:

And following the type of 1940:

Greetings

Hi Kenneth,

great sculpted figure, cool base and tons of details !!! I like it very much and I´m looking forward to see the whole scene painted.

About the helmet: If I see it right you gave the helmet a cover. Not very popular in the german troops of this time period, but I remember that I have seen some covered helmets on some photos.

Keep it up !!!

Happy sculpting,
Markus

Looks really nice, nice and clean sculpting! only the anti-infatry-wire on the top of the vignette seems like it will fall down very soon. i would look more realistic if all 4 tree trunks would touch the ground. now they are hanging in the air like here:

i hope this point helps you, overall this vignette is awesome!

Hello Kenneth,

I guess that I am one of those lucky ppl besides yourself to have seen this close up. This awesome diorama has to be painted up NOW!

Hi Ulrich !
Thanks; I'm glad you like it ! I did use some kit spares, but most of the scenery was created by myself. Cheers !
Kenneth.
