Today I made a first try building up the turret with paper.
That´s about the size of it:

Now this is interesting. You're combining my two favorite hobbies, paper modeling and figures. I'm looking forward to see how this comes out.

This is just a try because I had to admeasure photos of a Panther and comparing it with the YoungsMiniature- cupola.
Because of this, it is not very accurate but it´s a first impression for the later built up with plastic sheet, Magic Sculp and so on.

I have to wait until the book about the Panther tank is delivered to me. Then I can start with solid material.

redhorse:
What do you modelling with paper? I know there are tanks in 1:25 scale.

Let's see if I can upload here...

Keep in mind with these pics, there a paper modelers who are much much better than I am, but it does give you an idea. This model has around 1,350 parts in it, but the Panther from Halinski Publishing probably has around 5,000 or so.
