Hi all,
after coming back from a very enjoyable Scale Model Challenge 2013 with an itch to paint,so after a look in my model cupboard I found this little chap.
Andrea Miniatures 54mm, sculpt by Raul G Latorre.
Its an oldie but a darn goodie, would of done an S.B.S but it all happened so quick, so here's the finished model.
Thanks for looking.
Best Regards
Paul

EyH Paul !
Nice paint for this Rare Andrea figure ; I think you had a real pleasure to paint this wonderful Raul Latore sculpture ! The face is fine and the Matt aspect of the uniform is good!
On the box art of this item, this Fallschirmjager officer with….. One ME 262 ! why Andrea don't show this para with , others Green Devils, like on the famous Foto ;;;
Good choice of Fallschirmjager figure

Hi Didier and swralph
Thanks' for posting.

Didier; I did contemplate painting the the coat in leather but that's just copying the box art and in my eyes a little "Gestapo" !
I painted it in the thinking that he's not getting the best time of if hence the grubby look,it would of been great if Raul had made a trooper also then you'd get a glimpse of the photo and the story.
No doubt there are plenty para troopers out there, but for it to look right they would need to come from Raul at the same time.
Thanks' all for looking more so taking time and posting.

Best Regards

Hi Paul,
I can see that you liked doing this little chap, your colour choise and brushwork look as though it just flowed easily.
Sorry I missed the Gravesham Show on the 26th.......I was other wise engaged.
We are still in the UK 'til tomorrow morning and will then take a couple of leisurely days sight seeing en route to Bourganeuf.
Best wishes,
Keith
