Apologies for not posting in a wee while, been really busy with one thing and another,
Here’s something you’re probably very familiar with by now, a beautiful piece of work I affectionately refer to as Hugo’s Camel.

Very neat and colourful painting resulting in a fantastic version of what's becoming a very popular piece, great stuff!

Hard to argue with that. I have the full figure version and I've taken the liberty of filing these photos away for reference, ready for when it hits the bench. If I can get mine to look anything even close to as good as that, I'll be a happy camper.

What did you use to paint the camel's armour?

Hi John

Totally agree with all the comments , a great piece of artwork in all areas

I have prepped mine up ...reckon it could be running around in the new year

What's interesting is the variation in mounting the piece I have seen

Like Steve I have also saved the pics !!!

Thanks for sharing

Happy benchtime

Brilliant work, just a 'nerdy' thing; camels eyes do not show any white, and usually have no visible pupil like a human eye. Thats not to detract from some fantastic painting.
Dont you just love the way, RP have caught the movement of everything, especially the neck tassels.

Wonderful piece of work John. Great colour choices. I’ve got the 75mm full figure of this so might well be referring back to this when I get round to starting it.
