Here’s another bust that I managed to finish alongside Jean Bart.
This time it’s a Pawnee Scout (1/9 scale) by Fan Art Models.
The sculpting on this one is perfection, and I fully recommend it to anyone interested in Native Americans.
Painting is oils over enamels, with printers ink/oil mixes for the metals.
The jacket was finished off with a dusting of pastel dust, which the camera has failed to pick up.
I'd understand if I'd used flash, but it was a timed exposure under natural light.

Hi Kevin,
I'm pleased you like him.
I've just finished his travelling box, so he should be at the Show.

Cheers,
Andrew

Excellent, Andrew,....reminds me of the marvellous Carl Bodmer paintings of Native Americans (y)

Many thanks Alan.
James Ayres is another good artist on this subject. You can find some of his work HERE, plus a link to many more.

Cheers,
Andrew
