Hello my friends,
Finally i was able to finish this old but very great figure from Pegaso.
As usually i paint it with oils over acrylic's.
My pictures are as always far from acceptable, but i hope you can give some comments.

Marc you have handled the blues and the bronze very well and the work on the shield pegasus design is very nice and cleanly done.

Hello Stefano.
The shield is not exactly painted free hand. The horse is done with a stencil made by Tommi Warton. Then i filled it in free hand.
The leaves are sculpted on the shield so it was a peace of cake to paint them
O, the blue color on the shield is done trough a airbrush with Vallejo Acrylic in three different blue tones.

Very nice work again Marc, like the blues. How ever did you dod that shield design? LOL (y)

Cheers
Tommi

O, that wasn't so difficult. Read my answer to Stefano..... I believe i used a stencil from a very, very nice guy out of the UK :D(y)
The stencils made life so much easyer.
Thanks again Tommi.
Marc

Marc, stencils or freehand, it is the end result that counts and IMHO you delivered a very nice sheild and overall piece. I have this gem in my closet wearing an almost finished cloak, but had to shelve him for the time being :(

Again a very nice figure :)

Ray,
Thanks and i can only wait to see your's finished.

Costas,
Thank you so much.
You will not be disapointed when you paint him.
At least he is presenting a historicall period from your country..
I think you can bring the best out of it.

Roger,
Thanks for your kind words. And yes, i'm proud of it.

Sorry Marc, I'm a little late, again, getting into this post of yours. I
really like your colour choices, as so many have mentioned the bronze and
the blue. That blue colour is just killer. I also like the way you've handled
the base. Well done,

Jayhawker
