Guys,

I have a quick question about the figure in the attached photo. I have this figure and am about to start painting it.

There are short stubs of metal rod sticking out of the horse's rear hooves. Does anyone know how far up the legs these rods go? I see no evidence that they go completely up into the body cavity.

I plan to add rods to support the weight of the figure and just wondering how much work I am in for! LOL

TIA, pegaso-90mm-crusader-knight.jpg

Hi Don

Can't answer ref the length but perhaps contact the company ....I don't do legs but it looks a heavy piece which will benefit the work rather than have a sagging crusader

Do share how you get on

Happy benchtime

I did send the same question to Pegaso. Hopefully, I will get an answer.

If not, I will just press on and trench the legs and add music wire.

Thanks!

Don

You can perhaps check for the possibility to look if you can hidde a rod behind the caparaçon ...
And please, please, please 90% of the crusaders were NOT templars, wearing their own coat of arms and a cross sewn at the level of the heart ( colour acccording to where they were coming from )

I had considered running an additional wire up through the tail. I will check both those ideas to see what works best.

This figure is being painted for someone who wants a Templar, so that is how I will do it. Personally, I would prefer to research a real person and use those colors and arms.

Thanks!

Don
