Hi all

Looking to buy said figure, painted or unpainted (but would most likely want to repaint it myself)

Thank you, just found it in an old catalogue. Now to hope it'll pop up on Ebay one day.

Why not post a "Wanting to Buy" notice on the "Market & Commissions" forum here?

You never know, someone might have one in their stash that they are willing to part with.

Something I’m glad I learned. Don’t judge a figure from its old school box art. This is a clear Laruccia gem. Best of luck finding it.

Have to agree, that box art doesn't do it any favours. While not actually "bad", it just shows how much both painting and photography techniques have progressed in the years since this figure was released.

I was aware of this one but it was never on my radar, in no small part I think because the box art didn't "sell" it to me and I don't recall ever seeing another one painted up. Now I see this version from Putty&Paint I find myself thinking "wow, that's actually quite a nice little figure".

It’s a beautiful figure and well getting a hold off.
One of my favourite Larrucia Medieval miniatures.
Here’s my version painted many years ago.

Someone just listed this today on the Facebook group "Military Model Figures Buy...Sell and Trade Group. Its in the pile of boxes he posted.

You can't go wrong with a Laruccia sculpt(y)

Thanks a lot, unfortunately the group is private and my join request got denied for some reason. Ah, well.

I'm a member of that group and have had a good look but can't see it anywhere. If you can point me to where it was and who was/is selling it, I'd be happy to get it for you on a cost-neutral, non-profit basis (i.e. let you have it for what I pay plus shipping from me to CH).

Unfortunately it looks like that FB post has been removed. I recall the seller also provided an ebay link but I just tried to look for it on ebay without any luck.

Possibly contravened Group rules by posting a link to eBay???
