I confirm that this is one of the early releases of Pegaso Models.
Thank you, just found it in an old catalogue. Now to hope it'll pop up on Ebay one day.
Something I’m glad I learned. Don’t judge a figure from its old school box art. This is a clear Laruccia gem. Best of luck finding it.
Why not post a "Wanting to Buy" notice on the "Market & Commissions" forum here?
You never know, someone might have one in their stash that they are willing to part with.

It’s a beautiful figure and well getting a hold off.Have to agree, that box art doesn't do it any favours. While not actually "bad", it just shows how much both painting and photography techniques have progressed in the years since this figure was released.
I was aware of this one but it was never on my radar, in no small part I think because the box art didn't "sell" it to me and I don't recall ever seeing another one painted up. Now I see this version from Putty&Paint I find myself thinking "wow, that's actually quite a nice little figure".

Someone just listed this today on the Facebook group "Military Model Figures Buy...Sell and Trade Group. Its in the pile of boxes he posted.
You can't go wrong with a Laruccia sculpt
That must be gutting! Thanks a lot, unfortunately the group is private and my join request got denied for some reason. Ah, well.

Unfortunately it looks like that FB post has been removed. I recall the seller also provided an ebay link but I just tried to look for it on ebay without any luck.
