Just finished this Pegaso beauty, meeting my goal of having it done by the end of the year. The scabbard straps and sword knot were a pain in the a** to attach, I think they could have been engineered better - minor complaints on an overall great figure. I kept the groundwork pretty simple. I think doing so keeps the focus on the figure, which I like. Thanks for looking and thanks again to all of you who provided positive feedback on my in-progress posts. Happy New Year to all!

I am most envious of your painting style. I love this site for the inspiration it provides to me to improve my skills.

Beautiful work.

Salut

Great painting and great groundwork, though IMHO, the base seems a tad large, perhaps a fence post or hitching post, etc., would fill in the space. Just my opinion. Overall, A+

Andrea, Chris, Tony, Craig, Marc, Mark, Ray, John, Marcel, Matthew, Jay, Guy, Xenofon, and Patrick: Thank you so much, gentlemen, for your compliments! I greatly appreciate them.

Matthew - ref. the size of the base, I noticed that in the pics there is a bit of distortion produced by the camera and the groundwork is sort of pulled toward the viewer, making it look like there's more groundwork there than there really is. I see what you're saying (based on the pics), but I think it looks better in person.
