Another great Napoleonic release after Grouchy. Can't see myself buying Vlad Dracul but it's very impressive.

The dragoon is very nice. But a straight-up-and-down Napoleonic = snooooze.

The mounted Vlad looks excellent, but given the styling of the armour presumably is named incorrectly - Vlad Dracula. Dracul was his father (Dracula means son of the dragon). Great to see a fresh take on the subject and the realistic interpretation of the well-known facial portrait looks very nicely done.

Dracula is just stunning! I have been waitting a long time for a nice figure with gothic armour being released. Thanks for pegaso team.;)

Both figures are superb!!!!I know because I bought them both at Lyon a few days ago.
A tip to all,the heraldry on Vlad are sculpted!!Well done A.Jula and A.Cortina for painting.
Gold medal at master open at Lyon!

Excellent sculptures. The Dragoon is up to Maurizio's usual high standards - outstanding. Although a nice sculpt, I am less enthused with the "Dracul" figure. It seems more a fantasy figure than a historical one. The face does not match his famous portrait and I suspect the gothic armor is conjectural. With a historical figure, I think it is probably better to stick with what is known. But then maybe that is just me.....

Don't like the drapery/ wrinkles at the top of the dragoon's right thigh to crotch.....looks like the sculptor lost his way there!! Easy to change though.(n)

Good to see Pegaso back on track. Have to agree with Mike on the Dracul figure it falls more into the 'RoaminG Knight' category but thats OK.
The Dragoon is superb......hadn't noticed the crotch David but whatever rocks your boat ;) Bye the way great to see you back painting.
Cheers

After they put out a couple of turkeys recently, I was worried that Pegaso had started to lose the plot. These releases have restored my faith in the boys from Siena.

Great. The model of Dracul is characterized by a strong visual impact that will make it very interesting paint it in its gothic setting.
The entire model is characterized by a fluid motion stopped at the instant when the model was"frozen" by the artist. Showing an eternal moment full of romance.
In its impressive beauty comes in modeling landscape. Thanks to the boys of Pegaso for this wonder.
