Prefer this one to the Richard the Lionheart. Bet it won't be cheap though.

There is indeed written Resin. For Pegaso figures......it could be a mix for resin and metal parts, but I think it will be all metal.

The price would be around € 120,- for this awesome figure.

very dramatic figure and beautifully sculpted, but I hate to point out that the leopards are facing the wrong way :(
(y) well noted (pictures from Canterbury Cathedral below)

Look at the leopards on the horse's caparison: they are all facing forwards, even the ones on the right which should be facing left.

ok guys just to clear up heraldry, everything on an heraldic emblem (Blazon)means something and whatever way the emblem faces it should always face that way or it means something else, so if your leopard, (in this case a Passant Guardant Leopard) faces to the left it should do that whatever side its on, all this is governed under the heraldic rules its not that it faces forward. it also applies to colours,( Tintures ) there is also the white bar at the top of the coat of arms with the 3 downward bars, this means "son of" as the original coat of arms was his fathers (Edward III ), the Fleur de lis is symbolic that he is the king of France as well as England

For info a left facing emblem is dominant whereas a right facing is dormant

I think the heraldic slip up would bug me, but wouldn't put me off from buying this piece. What does give me pause is the fact that, at 75mm this is one heavy bit of scupture. Is there enough support in the legs to ensure that it doesn't fall over after a year or so in the display cabinet? I ask because I have a few Pegaso figures that have, over time, collapsed under their own weight.

This is the sort of information I love reading about in this forum. What references do you use as your comments have really made me curious to learn more.

Cheers

I'll deal with the same problem with a 90 mm knight. He is falling sideways.
Any idea how it should be fixed.

Huw i studied English medieval history and heraldry for years but there are plenty of books out there with all the relevant information, Charles Fox Davies The English Heraldry Scholars Choice edition, Charles Boutell The Handbook to English Heraldry, there are several editions to the last and many others and all give an in depth depiction of the rules that govern heraldry. Other countries differed in some form but the basics are the same
