ok guys just to clear up heraldry, everything on an heraldic emblem (Blazon)means something and whatever way the emblem faces it should always face that way or it means something else, so if your leopard, (in this case a couchant leopard ) faces to the left it should do that whatever side its on, all this is governed under the heraldic rules its not that it faces forward. it also applies to colours,( Tintures ) there is also the white bar at the top of the coat of arms with the 3 downward bars, this means "son of" as the original coat of arms was his fathers (Edward III ), the Fleur de lis is symbolic that he is the king of France as well as England
For info a left facing emblem is dominant whereas a right facing is dormant
