Lasalle......
love it, love it, love it !

The bust is not my thing at all but great sculpt.

Lively painting on both.

Thanks for posting Martin.

Oh wow!
What a triumph.
Pegaso are not releasing anything like the amount they used to, and they've put some stinkers out recently. This is fantastic though. A real return to form.
Great stuff guys, well done to the team for this.

Simply Amazing !
"La revue d'Elbing" :
The Emperor meets in a magnificent plain, in May 1807 near Elbing, all the cavalry corps commanded by Prince Murat, to the review.
Thirty Regiments of all weapons were contained therein; LASALLE Division, consisting of fourteen Regiments with 11th was in the lead. When he arrived at the height of the elite 11th Chasseurs Company of which was to the right of the 2nd Brigade, General LASALLE simply presented the Regiment pronouncing the sentence would become a motto:

- "Sire, that's the goods"
- "They look" replied the Emperor impressed by the martial air of Hunters and addressing the Captain JOSSELIN
- "How many have you had men killed in the campaign?"
- "4 officers and 30 men"
-? "Prisoners"
- "Point!"
- "It's good, 'said the emperor, that's what I like: kill or be killed".

Oh boy oh boy - or as I'm Welsh, oh boyo oh boyo. That's one fine 54mm figure. But I have so many waiting to be painted already. Will I have time to attempt this one, too?

Another of my heroes, refreshingly in a slightly different guise to how he's usually presented. Excellent sculpt, brilliant box-art, and that shabraque! Waaheyyy! Come to Daddy..........
