WIP Arnhem Para...

Hi chaps,
I'm currently flexing my muscles with the painting of a 200mm paratrooper and could do with some advice regarding the Denison smock...using photo reference of a surviving smock I'm fairly happy with the general look but it looks far too pristine for war conditions, any thoughts of how I can give it a subtle faded look without a complete repaint...I'm using Andrea and Vallejo acrylics!

So very, very different to mine...oh dear, back to the old drawing board as they say, the inks used seem a great alternative to paint alone!
