Tommi,

I love the Native American Scout in 75mm.
The sculptor, Benoit Cauchies "nailed it" with his beautiful design.
The paint job is also very nice.
take it from somebody, from the "southwest", the "Scout" is fantastic and I will be looking out for that piece to come out.

thanks for the heads up,
alex wencho

I'll definitely go for the Indian Scout ,I've been waiting for something like this since the film Geronimo starring Wes Studi. I love the Mounted Knight but these days my eyesight can't handle 54m figures

chippy

The Indian scout looks great, except that the coat he is wearing is fantasy/sci fi with no basis in history. This makes no difference to most as it is becoming increasingly common for sculptors to just invent items of costume, and evidently the painting public have no interest in history but want to crank out something "cool". Originally this painting business was the domain of historians first and the painting was an expression of that. Times change.

Time to eat crow. Which I really do not care for. My Amigo Guy just referred me to the James Bama print this figure was sculpted from. The coat on the figure is identical to that in the painting. My apologies for my lip. I am not going to cross swords with an internationally aclaimed artist over the cut of a coat. Whine retracted.

The Piper and Native American will get my money for this month. Excellent pieces.

These are beautiful figures!
But I also agree with my colleague Steve.
The name of a figure " American Native Scout " is identical " the present{true} European scout ". What year, what tribe? Also color of a strip on a sleeve and the size a knife have acknowledgement{confirmation}?
Yours faithfully.
