Francis,
I don't know nothing about this figure. So i think everything is well studyed.
The painting, no words, just enjoying.
Your metallic's are excellent.

Marc

Francis that's very nicely done. I really like your work. I also have this bust on my bench and I will agree that it's a great piece for painting. I will soon present my work too :)

Xenofon

Hi Fancis

Excellent paint job, the metal looks real good and the skin tones just as good. I have this one to do myself at some point

Cheers
Tommi

Amazing!! really great painting, my only critic is about the reds, maybe adding some shadows will give it more realistic look, I love the base, look very "antique"...

Hello Francis,

I like your choice of colours.

The historically-minded may wince at the violet of the plume  but I think it does add some interest to the bust.

Francis, I just picked this beauty up in Chicago In october. It really is beautifully sculpted for sure! You've done a very nice job on this one. I'm with Ernesto, I think the only small critique would be more shadow tones in the red of the cape, but over all a very well realized piece!
