very nice work I think the enamelled armour looks just right. I am thinking of buying this figure for myself as a Christmas present. You mentioned its complexity were you talking bout the construction or the finish?

Rommel, PKW4, Eddy, Damian and Godfather,

Thanks for the comments!

Godfather - Both. Ref. the construction, this kit is broken down into many pieces and you must carefully plan the assembly and painting process. Its definitely not a kit you can just assemble and then paint. I divided it into two main subassemblies, the upper body and the lower body, and did not glue these together until both were done. Also, the armor plates were all seperate pieces and I painted the areas under these before glueing them on because they would be too hard to reach later. Carefully test fit everything - I had a hell of a time attaching the armor plates that come off the back of the helmet (I tried to do this after the head was glued in place). Ref. the finish, this was complex to due to all the patterns I painted, some of which dont really show up in the photos. Also, it was challenging to achieve the different finishes (i.e. matte clothing and satin finish on the armor). Dont be discouraged though, the kit is difficult but VERY rewarding! It's one of the best figures I've ever seen.
