Well you seem to like the large scale figures Joe

have you something in the stash that could also go on a winter base and you have a bit of a mini-theme starting?

Have you something you have started and put away worth revisiting?

Paul.
On your first suggestion, no. On your second suggestion, well, ya. I've been toying with that very idea lately. Several years ago (more like many, many years ago), I picked up a Pose Militaire Conquistador. You know, the one by Keith Durham. I started him way back when and he just sat there for years in just a primer coat. A couple of years ago I painted him up, but I just was not happy with the color scheme, in particular his pantaloons. By this time I have learned to paint with acrylics, so after many more months I re-painted him. He is basically all painted up now. I just need to do the groundwork on the base and put him on there. That'll be the ticket :)!

Hi Joe,
So pleased to read that, I remember Keith's figure well, and the scenario of mislaying 'Mo n Jo'.
They are good guys to have around, and it's tough without them lads one on each shoulder.

I do look forward to you completing your version.

Paul.

Fantastic job Joe! The whites are first rate and your freehand work on the eagle badges is amazing!

Good to see you back in the saddle... keep at 'er (y)

Watching for the next one buddy

Colin
