This is my latest result. Still some details to do. But almost finished.
The figure with acrylics, the horse with oils.
Critics are welcome

Yoshi,what a great figure you've painted here.
I specially looking at your blue, very nice shades, lights and the whole effect against the red is just awesome.
When i finish my Yorktown diorama i will probably work on my long wanting to paint a Polish lancer with it's blue on Crimson, dying to paint that color scheme.
Great job again,best regards.

Nice job Yoshi
Reds and blues look great, all the details are very clean... overall great finish.
I just completed this one in the spring and it was a joy to paint... beautiful sculpt and great subject.

Congrats

Colin

Yoshi, the highest compliment I can pay you is that seeing this has made me want to get my own ass into gear and carry on with mine.
Very well done with this, I really like what you've done with it.

Let me know how you approached the face. I only ask because the face on the kit I got was so awful I ditched it and have chenged it to a Maurice Corry one which is excellent.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the nice remarks.

I had no problems with my package. Only the normal clean up.
I did use acryls in the way jaume Ortiz use to do. And have had some lessons and tips from Fernando Ruiz during a workshop.

Hi Rob

Very nice done on this one. I like the red and de blues. for sure you getting better and better. Hope to see it soon
in real. Some critics to for the horse it can have some more highlights and shadows in my opinion.
Greetings Dick
