Nice heads up Geoff, this looks really promising......and a great back story spanning 200 years.
Given the detail of their 28mm work a 75mm should be right up there with the best.
Cheers

Way back in the late 1970's/early 1980's the Perry twins picked up many awards for their 54mm figures at various shows. Some of their earliest work for Citadel Miniatures included a small range of Dark Age/Ancient 54mm figures, now long out of production. So much talent!

I was wondering how their work would translate to a larger scale; better than I was expecting. It's hard to properly assess the work in these small pics but the legs may be a bit chunky and the creasing on the sleeve of the raised arm appears a bit confused, but overall it looks great.

I originally came from wargames, so have always had an interest in the Perry's as they are so famous in the wargames world.

I'll definitely be getting this figure.

They did a series of 54mm figures for Peter Jackson as a private commission, there were dozens of them, and they did at one point list pictures on their site. The range was ANZAC's at Gallipoli, beautiful figures.

That they were. Sorry they were not generally available too. They were almost as good as Tommy's War. Saw your announcement of forthcoming releases on your site Darren and while I look forward to the two to come later this month, I wish I had a time machine to leap forward to July and your first Canadian subject release.

Cheers

Colin
