I copied the colour scheme from the box art..
There´s a couple of things mucked up and if I do them again would change.

Thanks...definately not my best effort at painting though..maybe I tried a bit too hard..

Paul; how do you base coat the figures? I have tried painting 1/72nd plastics, washed them, and primed with auto primer, but the enamels flake off. I really enjoy seeing your posts - takes me back to my boyhood with Airfix figures!

Thanks :)
I base coat with..(unless I´m painting resin figs) with matt black acrylic. The paint I use is called Marabu (but I also use Hobbyline acrylics)
I just paint on using a brush..one that started life with a decent point..then got used for dry brushing and ended up looking similar to a chimneysweeps brush. I just paint it on thick and as it drys keep "painting" off the excess it until the details come through.
Marabu (or hobbyline) are made by the same people who make ALL of the so called specialist figure paints..the advantage with marabu..it´s a hell of a lot cheaper. ;)
I wouldn´t use enamels..some of the plastics react to it..either glueing it on (if your lucky) or kicking it off .
Some of my figs painted this way are over 10 years old and have suffered a bit along the way but only a dozen have lost tiny amounts of paint..and that from some ..????...7000 figs
