My thoughts to the family and friends.
Having never met the man beyond this site, I can only guess at who he really was... but the reaction and outpouring from those here who knew him tells me alot about who this man was. Between that and my interactions with him here, I think he'd have been a guy I would have liked to know.

Make sure, next Friday, you guys "over 'ome" give him the send off he deserves... Tip a few for us brothers from Canada

Pete's absence is felt around here. Everything seems so much more serious on PF these days. We shall have to try harder to be irreverent in Pete's honour. I miss that little Ronnie Corbett-like avatar
