Here are 2 pieces Phil is working on at the Moment
1st is for release some time this year to go with his other 3 Pacific figures and it is an Armed PAPUAN I think the Papuan Militia who fough just as hard as the Aussies in the highlands of New Guinea and are deffinately the lost warriors
Phil will fill you guys in on who the both are based on.

Thanks for posting these pics Ian.

The Papuan looks interesting, although the hair seems odd to my eyes. Most of the Papuan men who I've seen in uniform wore huge afro hair styles, hence the nick name "The Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels".

The Samurai archer looks very nice.
 
hi! Cobber,hows the body.....sorry old son hes not a Fuzzy Wuzzy Angle, hes a Sergeant of the ROYAL PACIFIC ISLAND REG, his face is taken from a Ivor Hele portrait and hair cut as such..the rifle is not the correct weapon the strap will have a more natural fall, mate great fun making his feet.....he! he!..

Great looking figures can see a couple of nice vignettes with the papuan and the aussie bren gunner and that samurai looks great I like the way the coat has been taken off the shoulder and tucked back and the bow dropping after the shot looks awesome

morning all..back on line at last.
both figures are scaled at 120mm, both figures have some wee ways to go before l can say lm happy...the New Guinea figure will come out through OZMODS SCALE MODLES, the Samurai was going to be a one off, but now its got me scratching my head,yes or no???...any way l have to finish him first...guys l truly appreciate the good thoughts many thanks..

Come on phil, bring on the samurai as well, it looks fantastic, cant wait to see the finished product.
