Good morning all and a very Happy New Year from sunny Cumbria.
I have a suggestion that may help with photographing your work if you wish to do so.
I started with the excellent article on our site...
http://www.planetfigure.com/pages/Photographing-miniatures-and-figures/
I found that I was getting to much glare/blowout on the busts...see images listed as without lightbox
I had a mate of mine suggest a simple solution which is a lightbox which helps to diffuse the light/spread it evenly as it were.... see images listed as with lightbox
The lightbox is dead simple to make and only took about 30 minutes... nothing special needed but the results speak for themselves. Follow this link...
The last thing I need is to be able to get tighter focus on specific parts of the figures and I have that sorted with HDMI cables that will help to show the LIVE VIEW on my monitor from my DSLR camera.
Best of luck with it and let me know if I can help at all.
Cheers and keep painting.
Jonathan
