Hi All,
I know it's been a long time since I posted anything on this, due to lots of reasons including doing 5 new projects, one of which I will put up later today. I have started to lay some colour down on the figures and this is how it stands at present. Still a mountain to climb but it's moving again.
cheers
Richie

Looking really classy Richie.
Those Zulu flesh tones are coming up superbly well.
I wondered where this monster diorama had got to, it is great to get this update and see your fine progress.
Well done Mate you are right on the money.
All the very best,
Keith

Excellent progress Richie, the group of defenders look great and the Zulu flesh tones are very realistic.

Cheers
Steve

Hi Steve, Nap, Ian & Adrian,
Thanks for the support lads(y).

Ian

Ian, I may bring it down it just depends on whether I want to take the risk at this point, my aim is still for the Sword & Lance, so I might just leave it and bring down a few other things, including some kits;).
cheers

I really admire your vision and ambition on this Richie. I wouldn't have either the patience for something as big as this, or the skill in remodelling and sculpting the figures. Looking forward to watching it progress further and seeing it finished. Following with interest. Very good flesh tones on the Zulus by the way (y).

Glad to see you back at this monster project. The Zulus look awesome. Painting that skintone has always been a struggle for me... you have done a great job.

Looking forward to more progress

Colin

Richie ,

Hi Ken, Steve, Colin, Tom, Ron, Nap & Tony,
Thank you for the longevity of your support, it will be 2015 before the next update, but I assure you it will be completed by the end of March.(y)

Hi Richie,

Great work mate. This is a truly epic project and at times you must feel totally daunted by the scale of the challenge you're facing.

Just remember mate, the way to eat an elephant is to take one bite at a time.

Yes, but I know nothing of elephants, only they look big looking down from the trees. I'm actually sitting on a huge buch of banana's:D.
