Nicely done. I will say that, as a piper myself, the drone slides need to be painted the color of the African Blackwood the pipes are made from, in keeping with the mounts on the pipes.

These are the pins that the drone segments slide on for tuning. They appear to be painted gold on your example, which is virtually never found, especially on military sets.

Silver/nickel silver drone pin slides are common, but usually always these are found on sets that are either completely silver/nickel silver mounted (ferrules and projecting mounts), or at the very least have silver or nickel silver ferrules.
