Here's my latest piece, it's a depiction of a Pitjantjatjara Man with Sand Goanna.
It's a conversion based on the Verlinden 'Caesar' Corsican pirate bust.
The goanna, beard, hair and scarification are made from a mixture of magicsculp and green stuff.
The base was made with a piece of driftwood.
I've just noticed the arm bands need painting,(been a little distracted by the Ashes match) anyway here is Pitjantjatjara man from the desert region of Central Australia.

Nice work Mark ,

Like the lizard draped round his shoulders and a very good use of a old bust

Like the fact that he is smiling ...wicked scars as well

Thanks for sharing

Thanks for all your positive comments guys,..this was just another bust that bounced around in my head until it forced it's way out into a three dimensional form...now that's it out there I find the rattling is a little less noisy but thankfully there's still the kind of din you'd find walking into a country pub...cheers and thanks again.

Thanks a lot Tony, glad you like it mate, I enjoyed this one very much.
Richie, I know you see the potential for conversion in every figure you see, it seems I'm afflicted with the same figure modellers malady.
Thanks Steve, I'm already onto the next bust and I can't wait till it's done, I'm really have fun it, actually my last post here is a clue what it's about!
