Hi everyone, I post the photos of the last piece I painted for a commission.
It is a beautiful figurine of the Semper Fidelis Miniatures in 75mm.
I wanted to set it up during the Battle of Waterloo, where old guard guard grenades clashed with Prussian units attending defense in the cemetery of the small village of Plancenoit.
So I thought of making a battlefield damaged to restore historicity to the battle.
Hope you like it.

Superb painting beautiful blues. I see you have replaced the sword in his right hand with drum sticks, looks a thousand times better.
Very nice figure.

actually I preferred to replace the hands to give an appearance, in my opinion more appropriate. I do not exclude the possibility that a drummer may have fought, but it did not convince me much of the idea that it did so by continuing to hold the drum sticks

thanks guys, it's a piece that I recommend, because of pleasant painting, but that allows you to try to realize different textures of materials.

Very well done indeed. Its new owner will be well pleased I am sure. Replacing the sword with drumsticks improves the figure immensely.
