Hi Ski, Aside a couple of boofs which I might add you resourcefully solved , the painting highlights the sculpting so well , the joined figures are going to look great. The detail painting on the various pouches etc are a pleasure to see. Look forward to seeing Bruce's arm. Have fun and a happy holiday this festive season. Nap
Kevin, thanks, Me Hermano! I appreciate those kind words you always expound, worth counting on, Mate!
Wow Ski that's heck of an update, glad it's not just me who makes ,"boofs" or as I call the cock ups, just spent an afternoon resculpting a helmet., .................Must admit though I need to get my eyes tested as I still don't see the tonal book you mention. Cheers Simon
Thank you, Simon. It's part of the Sport, I recon, we never seem to have a flawless game, but that's what makes it so interesting. We'd be mighty bored without a good fight!
I can only say Wow at this stage. Malc
Malc, you are too kind, Brother!
Making boofs? Hey, I specialise in that! It's overcoming them that is key.....
How right you are, Nigel, how right you are. Thanks, Amigo!
that is looking very beautiful and also got that problem with that arm,to connect them, but yeah,im struggling always
it's my second name I believe, keep it up your very good and beautiful work
Mario
Thanks for following along, Mario, I appreciate the encouragement!
Been flat out with work & life lately Ski so haven’t been so active here, but am keeping abreast of your threads.
UBoat was a stunner & this one is following along nicely too.
I was fortunate enough to visit Point du Hoc just over a month ago. Incredible & moving experience.
Story of the lads there was just heart wrenching in those few days spent from the landing, through to the final securing of the Point cut of from main force down the coast. Couple of snaps I took shared below maybe of interest.
Ruck on Buddy!
That musta been a little bit on the tough side to understand what all of these guys had to deal with, all along the Normandy Coast, but especially these Rangers. This is probably why I so much enjoy this hobby, history retold in miniature, but with flare, class, and a real desire to honor those whom we portray. Wouldn't you agree, Mike? Thanbks for posting your pics, that's an impressive sight.
Thanks for those kind words and the occasional push in the right direction, means a lot, Brother!
P.S. Mike, is that you climbing the cliff? If it is, yur one tough bugger! And, BTW, there's a reason they say, "Don't mess with Texas!" I take them seriuously.
Thank you, Gentlemen!
