This is a bust of a Polish Infantry Lieutenant (1939), which I happened across when at the Salisbury show on 3rd June.
I found it lying at the bottom of an 'odds and sods' box at one of the Traders' stands.
The sculpt was perfect, comprising three parts (helmet, head and torso), together with a strip of PE with two breast badges; all for the princely sum of £5.00.

The sculpt appears to be a Siskin Miniature (scale 1/10), but I can't find it on their site.
Nap also thought it was a Siskin when I showed him my purchase on the day.
The PE badges are excellent, and represent the 2nd Field Artillery and the 4th Infantry Regiments.
You can see how good they are when compared with the the relevant plates in Guido Rosignoli's book (pub. Blandford):-

Thanks for looking.

Marc, Kevin, Phil,
Many thanks for your kind comments.

Kevin,
The body and head are very much identical to the Siskin cavalry colonel, but with changed rank markings, collar insignia and removed medal(s).
However, my searches have failed to find any reference to this particular bust.

Cheers,
Andrew

Hi Andrew

You are of course correct like the colonel it's just got that Siskin look !

Still wish I had been rummaging before you ..lol

Many thanks for solving the mystery Piotr, and for your kind comment.
I must admit I hadn't even thought of ToRo, but that's been remedied by adding them to my bookmarks.

Cheers,
Andrew
