THis is my latest work from Ademola 22. It's the Polish General 1939 in resin, 120mm. This is my first kit from Ademola 22 and the casting was really bad. I spent about 4 hours fixing pockets, belt lines, etc because of the casting flaws. I was really excited about doing this kit but because of the drab uniforms there wasnt a lot I could do so it is what it is. I can't really decide if I like the job I did. I almost think this is a total disaster but I could be wrong. Painted in oils over acrylics. Comments are very welcome!! THanks for looking

You've done an excellent job on the plain uniform. My only comment would be that the whites of the eyes seem too "white".
Carl.

Your right. I was thinkin the same thing! In person they don't look so white but in this pic they do. I think I need to change my eye color mix next time

Jason:

I concur with the comments made so far. Yes, the uniform colour isn't
real colourful, but yet you've made a very interesting and eye catching
figure out of this, with the colour choices you have made. Once you get
the eyes where you are comfortable, I say you've done a first class job.

Rick, Dan, thanks guys. After looking at it, I could have done so much better. I'm trying to get something good for Tulsa and just aint hittin yet. Ive started Andrea's "The Retreat" and hopefully will do a lot better but thanks for the kind words

Hi Jason,

I really like the painting you did on this figure, very nice!(y)

Jason,
Is this the finished piece including ground work and display? I see that the ground work is painted. IMO, as someone looking at your work, I'm feeling the ground work isn't finished to where it could be to compliment your figure. I would expand the ground work a bit on a wooden display base. Do you have a title plate?

Jim
