Hello good gents who like the winged hussars theme,

take a look at these new figures (from a Polish modelers forum) made by the Polish figure sculptor and painter, Maciek Koncerz Pawlica, of Polish-Lithuanian Winged Hussars of the 17-18th centuries
75-80mm winged hussar comrade (noble companion)

75 mm hetman - highest ranking officer in the Polish-Lithuanian armies

54mm officer of the light cavalry banner

busts - rotameister, nobleman, pancerny towarzysz

I wonder if these will be commercially available?

Dario, Though the figures look a little stiff and somewhat toy soldier-like the armor is very vell done as can be seen by looking at the resin casting of the bust (my favorite). Thank you for posting these. It's nice to see some Polish subjects.~Gary

Wow. Dario you have made a great job of sculpture appeals to to a lot the 90 to me milimeter.

If I can make one critical your figures they seem a little static your attempt would have to be to represent of the uniforms but a man within the uniforms to even give more nature.

However I task that you will make of the good progresses you have a good hand compliments and good job.

MAB,
please note that these figures are made/sculpted by Maciek Koncerz Pawlica
I am just posting these links to the images themselves as I found them on the web :)

OPPS Excuse the error but today when I have answered
I have not read wel :(
However the speech to be valid for the Sculptor.

 MAB

hey Kevin,
you can write to the sculptor he reads English - I am sure he will be happy to correspond with you ...

his webpage with some old stuff

Gary,
considering these are his first works in the scale smaller than 120-200mm it is amazing how smoothly the transition went - the rest is a matter of time and practice, I guess. I am sure paitned they're going to look splendid :)

as per his technique and materials - I gather from the posts that Koncerz works in Magic Sculp, Greenstuff and 'modelina' modeling clay made in Poland - sort of like Super Sculpey but much firmer and very hard once baked...
cheers

Thanks Da I see you live in Brooklyn. Why not come out the Long Island CLub meeting in Freeport...3rd Tues...we have a good time and learn alot in the bargain.
Thanks again,
Kevin
