Lol.......and I just cleaned up 3 more figures and got them spray primed. 2 single foot and a 90mm Mounted (horse). The Mounted figure I have been wanting to start for over a year but commission figures have always been in the forefront. The shelf right above my computer screen in getting crowded with in-progress items.

Guy,
Pray tell, what are starting now?

"Junior" - Son of Volgar -
90mm Mtd Ghengis Khan
90mm Soldiers Viking

I have a bust too that I want to make a couple of easy conversions to which will result in a new Mountain Man bust. I'll clean him up and start this one tomorrow.

I'm taking a few weeks off from commission work to get some of my own figures started.

Guy,
You are twisting off a bit! Junior is not a figure that I would expect from you.
The mounted Khan figure is a beauty but not my cup of "Mountain Dew."
I spent more time today trying to decide which figures to build and paint than I did painting! I finally decided on the mounted figure ( Andrea mounted Crusader) and a WWII Ranger in 90mm from Alpha Images. I am still in a quandary over which bust goes to the bench.
I did spend some quality time with the Major today and I firmly decided that I will stick with oils.

I like to "Go over to the "Dark Side" once in awhile. I did Volgar a couple of years ago which took awards at several shows and am always looking for unique fantasy to paint.

You and Jay have both gone over and you both are into green. In your case the green is Mountain Dew!

Painting an old I&E 75mm Ashiguru Commander and prepping three more and am shopping for the props on the base of another.

Prepping a MiniArt Mounted French Dragoon

Prepping a Verlinden Confederate that I want to make a small conversion on

Prepping the Alpha Images WWII Japanese Officer

Looking for a barrell (Bueller, anybody??) for a 120mm figure to sit on (like a pickle barrel).

And a whole lot more waiting in the wings.... talk about attention deficit!!

Kevin,

Verlinden makes a very nice barrel and they are almost always available on E-Bay. Just check military-armor-120mm. I may have one myself and I am getting ready to liquidate all of my Verlinden 120mm armor and accessories.
I will check and send you a p.m. if I find it.

Work best on one model at a time, but voted one to three as when one model runs into "temporary hold-up" another gets started...
Then I had a little count up...

1 on the work-table, painting may get a final tweak or two, groundwork and basing taking way too much time...

9 others built and primed, being built, or being converted.

12 more with some paint applied but now waiting for something... a base, display space, colour-scheme correction, finally getting that airbrush, some clear casting resin to make several floods of water, an easy way out of a difficult problem (instead of my usual difficult way our of an easy problem!), inspiration...

No wonder I flunked math!

Spike.

I have probably 30-50 figures in various stages of completion. I have the attention span of an eight year old, so I am always putting one down and starting another. They get done but in their own sweet time... .

Steve,

Thanks for the input and the vote.
The madness contiues with the more than less approach. However, I believe that you get the cake, the gold or whatever you want to call it. Wow, 30-50 is....I have no idea? Please let us know what scale and what period.
I am looking forward to your response!

Man that sounds familiar!!!!!!!!!!!

I have too many.
- 2 Métal Modèles Soult & Trumpeter Grenadier assembled & undercoated.
- Métal Modèles Mameluk Officer (equestrian) in progress. Horse nearly completed.
- Métal Modèles 90mm hussar. Waiting...
- Andrea M. Henry VIII. Waiting as well.
- EMI-TOP Tutmosis III 90mm. Face completed.
- Scenery White Models European Knight (dismounted) + Andrea Horse (from the kit Knight 1400). Just assembled.
- Pegaso 75mm Kavas Bashi. Face completed.
I have decided not to buy any figure in 2010. That will definitely be a challenge.
