Hi all,
Spotted this new release from Big Child Creatives (a gaming figure company) at my local hobby store and succumbed to the temptation :p. In 75mm scale, it is one of a set of 3 figures with interlocking bases to be displayed together. Based on a well-known painting depicting an 'end-game' point between 2 gladiatorial combatants . Multi-part, the resin casting and parts fit are excellent, to say the least, with only a tiny bit of filler required. Mould part lines are practically non-existent. Looking forward to putting some paint on to this :woot:. Cheers!

Very "Spartacus Blood & Sand" rather than reality, but superb nonetheless.

I will be getting this as it's a superb set-piece and subjectively, the best of the 3 in the series.

Hi Gary,
Thank you very much . Yes, of the 3 offerings, this one looked the most promising, historical-wise . Looking forward to seeing your version. Cheers!

Everytime I see sections of this Gladiatorial scene I get sucked in closer to buying it, I have a number of rational thoughts that I use to put me off crossing the line :(

"Pull the trigger" Terry!"

When did pragmatism, reality and fiscal prudence ever feature as a part of this hobby and in recruiting for the Grey Army....? Mine arrived this morning and it is superb and you won't regret it. Buy with confidence; the sculpt is superb.

Gary
