Poniatowski for Mike Davenport

Hi Mike and all,

Here's my rendition of the above. 54mm historex figure with furry bearskin cape sculpted from A&B. I threw the Historex version away.
Groundwork is rather grim, representing the Polish weather and terrain. I used Hudson&Allen Mud and slush.

I apologise for the small picture. I am a true technophobe and don't quite know how to enlarge the picture. I just know how to compress it.

thanks for your comments. Guy, thanks for trying to enlarge the picture (Don't try too hard- warts and all know what I mean...).

BTW, note that I have painted a coloured horse to give even more colour contrast as artistic license (none of my refs show Poniatowski ever riding a coloured horse).
