The Iron Brigade figure is a beauty,(have done this myself a while ago) its a superb sculpt and you've done a very good job in the painting of this one. The groundwork is excellent.

Gunther, Beautiful job on both. I particularly like the Confederate Infantryman, 1863, It has inspired me to do another one. Here's mine, Painted as 10th Tenn. Irish Brigade. I also like very much the Corporal 19th Indianan Vol. Regt. Iron Brigade 1862. I will get one but if I could find a way to paint it as a Confederate soldier!

Fantastic, I love the Iron Brigade figure although its not really my preferred scale, may I respectfully inquire about your colour mix for the 'Union blue' ?

Now recording to your question:
the colour mix for the Union blue is 70816 Vallejo Modelcolor, a little bit of Prussian blue from Andrea or Vallejo and flat black.
