Postage times from Spain

Just wondering if someone could provide some insight really. I placed an order with a Spanish company and it was dispatched two weeks ago, I hasten to add that the company have been great, providing me with tracking nos and tracing the parcel themselves. Spanish postal service have it listed as in transit (to the uk), but no sign as of yet. Just wondering at what stage to really start chasing it up, anyone had anything similar?

I would be getting onto the Post Office now. In my opinion the longer you leave it the more likely they have of getting even more lost.
The last two figures I ordered from Greece were posted 30th June and were in my hands on 4th July.

I ordered from EVD in Spain on 30 June. It was posted on 1 July and arrived in Australia on 9 July - very fast service. One ordered from the UK a week or more earlier than my Spanish order arrived a week after the EVD model arrived.

Spain = Germany in normal cases 5 days. After two weeks I would try to contact the post office

I hassled the post office and it mysteriously showed up the next day, funny that eh

Hmm strange, glad it's turned up though. This is what I meant by the longer you leave it the more lost it would become, I wonder what would have happened if you hadn't hassled them?

Good to learn its arrived. Do you have the system in the UK where if the parcel is too big for the post box and you are not home, they leave a card for you to pick it up from the Post Office?

Don't get me started on that subject.
Yes we do, however in my case you have to wait 24 hours and then pick it up from a different town.

Sorry to have struck a raw nerve Roger. I guess village living has some disadvantages. Here we pick it up from our local PO after 4pm same day.
